Hi Gang...

As we move into the Winter months now, it's crucial to keep your exercise regime up and not fall into any bad habits on the run up to Christmas. Nothing feels better than when you are healthy and feeling your best each and every day.

Here’s our latest update to keep you all updated on what’s going on at the health club.

Becci says goodbye

After 10 years we now have to say goodbye to one of our leading instructors Becci. Becci has been inspirational at the club and has really helped to transform a lot of peoples health and wellness. The fact that she now lives in Wales makes it unrealistic for her to continue her role with us. I want to personally say a big thank you to her for all her efforts and dedication over the last 10 years. She will be missed.

Class Timetable

We are having to make some changes to the class timetable to adapt to Becci leaving.

The following changes are as follows from 18/11.

NEW CLASS Wed 6.30pm
Circuit Training with Joe (Replacing Bootcamp)

NEW INSTRUCTOR Thursday 10.30am
Tone & Stretch with Richard

NEW CLASS & INSTRUCTOR Thursday 5.30pm
body pump with Laura (this will replace body conditioning)

NEW CLASS & INSTRUCTOR Thursday 6.30pm
Spin with Laura (This will replace circuit training)

We hope that these changes will suit most of you and we really appreciate your support on this during our staff changes.

Why did you want to change your lifestyle?
I joined for many reasons. I wasn't happy with my physical look and through lockdown I lost myself.

I wanted to discover my fitness limits and challenge myself. To be trained and see what strength I have as well as do something for myself outside of work and being a parent.

What have you achieved over the last 12 weeks?
Strength and confidence, I feel great and I completed it that's a massive achievement for me!

What did you enjoy the most?
Being part of a team and working together to achieve our fitness goals. Love the variation of classes and the feel of the club everyone's lovely

Why is it important for you to exercise regular?
For me it's to stay healthy mentally and physically. It helps me release the stress for the day and makes me feel good.

What do you have now that you didn’t have before the plan?
Energy and more patience, I am a lot stronger

Would you recommend this program to other people?
Yes definitely!

New Classes NOW ON

NEW HATHA YOGA

Why not try our new hatha yoga and meditation class every Wednesday at 5:30 PM with Binny? This is an amazing practise taken with a very experienced practitioner. This class is suitable for all levels as well as beginners.

NEW ASHTANGA FUSION

We are also pleased to announce that we will be running and you fusion class with Lucy every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM. this class is ideal for people that want to practise the ashtanga series of yoga poses.

SPIN WARRIOR (coming soon)

Lookout for our spin warrior class coming soon to really help you get your heart and lungs pumping. This is a challenging class to test your fitness to the limit. Watch out for this new addition to the timetable later this year on a Saturday morning

Small Group Training

New Small Group Strength Training Classes now added.Join other like-minded people and take part in our new small group strength training sessions.

💚Non-members welcome.
💚This is a pay as you go service.

In our small group training sessions, you will learn how to move properly with functional strength exercises, make sure you are moving with the correct technique and most of all, learn how to get results from strength training. The sessions are ideal for all levels and abilities. Each coaching session is 45 minutes in duration and we ask you to warm up for 15 minutes prior to attending each appointment.

Each coaching session is £10 per person and 12 hours notice is required when cancelling an appointment.

Coaching timeslots as follows:
Tues 8.45am & Thurs 845am & Thurs 5.45pm

Festive Timetable

There will be a special festive Christmas timetable running over the festive. Please pick up a copy from reception so you are aware of everything that is on offer all see the website or team up for all the details.

Festive Timetable

Join us for our members Christmas party on Thursday 16th of December, 12.30pm at the new Masons arms in Oulton. Please book your space at reception if you would like to join us for the afternoon. As always there will be a 3 course festive lunch followed by some party games and we will also have a live singer performing later on that afternoon.

If you can’t make the festive lunch on the 16th, why not join Richard and lots of the other members for an afternoon in Leeds. This will be on the following Thursday the 23rd of December at 4pm. We will be meeting in the Revolution de Cuba for afternoon drinks.
